Japanese supercar, anyone?

Posted by jacktruong on September 23, 2008

When people talk about supercar, I bet Ferrari and Lamborghini are the two names that sit on the top. A Ferrari or Lamborghini normally cost around $200.000. Of course, not everyone can have that MUCH money to waste, I mean, spend on those machines. I’d love to take a ride on those myself. But, if you happen to have around only haft, or two third of that money? Let’s assume that you happen to marry a rich-ass guy(if you’re a lady) or you just inherited a little fortune from your late auntie. Then, you can have an option to go faster with a better price: in this case, that is a Nissan GTR

Although it’s only equipped with a 3.8L twin-turbo V6 engine (which seems like nothing compare to the V10 Gallardo and V12 Murcielago, but it doesn’t mean this car can’t achieve a blazing fast speed: going from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds, and the V6 engine promise better gas mileage than any other supercars in this world.

That’s the outside, this is from the inside:

As you can see, there is a little LCD screen to help the driver check the car condition. The location of the screen is adjusted perfectly, so that the drive can check everything with just a glance. Not much supercar has this feature either. Although the new Lamborghini Reventon use an LCD screen instead of a normal tachometer and speedometer, but it comes with a ridiculous price (1.5 mil if you want to know).

So, if you have around $70.000 to spend, what will you do? Going to Las Vegas or buying this machine? Well, it’s your choice. But if you want something to show off to the chicks, or you want to get away from your old daddy’s sedan, then this car is a must-have
